10Note that the longer it takes to write the software after the computational power is there, the greater the difference between what humans can do and what the artificial intelligence can do. Even if the technology became static, each year more computers are produced, increasing the amount of computational power available on Earth. If the amount of computations per watt continues to increase, this effect is even more severe. Basically, computers will think differently than humans (how many humans do you know that can invert a 20 by 20 matrix in under a second?) and if computers both think differently and much faster, there will be more of a difference between what humans and the computers think.
