Interests:

• Using variety of computer software to solve practical problems
• Using scripting languages to eliminate repetitious or time-consuming tasks
• Diagnosing and fixing various technical problems

Experience:

• Resnet technician at Montana State University-Bozeman
  • quickly and reliably diagnosed and solved problems on Windows 95 & 98, Macintosh, and Linux computers on Montana State University's network
  • assisted network users with technical support
  • Installed and currently run GNU/Linux on personal computer
  • run a variety of network services including Telnet, FTP and Samba
  • compiled, installed and run a variety of software
  • created Python scripts to automate configuration in Resnet's DHCP environment
• Prepared Columbia Falls High School's computers for 1998-1999 school year
  • wrote batch file to automate process
